We were not born stressed/anxious/fearful - our past experiences have taught us how to be these things. Therefore, it stands to reason that we can also unlearn these responses and relearn more positive ones!
It might help to think of Hypnotherapy as a process of updating our brain's operating system drivers and patterns of thinking. We slip in and out of natural hypnotic states up to 200 times a day, with many processes being controlled subconsciously and automatically. We can harness this natural ability for hypnosis within us all to guide our brains towards the positive changes we want to achieve. The great thing about hypnotherapy is that many issues can improve or even be resolved in just a few sessions, compared to other talking therapies.
