Hello, I'm Julie.
I'm a professional clinical hypnotherapist and the mum of two gorgeous girls, as well as being a part-time teacher and tutor.
After taking several leaps out of my comfort zone in my own life which have helped to create the rich and varied life I have today, I am convinced of the benefits of finding the balance in work, life and everything, and supporting others to do the same.
I’m really enthusiastic about hypnotherapy because I’ve personally experienced how powerful it can be. Experiencing EMDR in hypnotherapy myself enabled me let go of past trauma, embrace the present moment and take steps into new future possibilities with a sense of peace and empowerment. I’ve seen the incredible changes hypnotherapy can bring and have heard wonderful feedback from clients about the amazing improvements it has made in their lives.
I have worked with people within education for over 25 years as a teacher, school leader and tutor and have noticed how sometimes, us humans - whatever our age - can be our own worst enemy, and often end up 'stuck' in self-sabotaging thinking and behaviour patterns. We all have habits we want to break, or new habits we want to develop, but often, despite our best efforts, things like our lifestyle, time constraints, stress levels, mindset or lack of motivation and confidence can get in the way of reaching our goals.
If any of this rings bells for you - and trust me, I totally understand, having been there myself many times- then let's team up to help you make any changes you'd like more positive and permanent. I'll work with you to understand the changes you want to achieve, identify your goals and then I'll suggest some possible approaches from the range of hypnotherapeutic strategies I have in my toolbox and create a personalised plan to support you every step of the way.
Everyone is welcome! I have both personal and professional experience working with children and adults of all ages of all neurotypes (both with and without neurodivergent brains).
Let’s team up and make this journey a positive and transformative one together!
My working hours are currently:
Mondays and Tuesdays 9.30 – 2.30
(Bespoke scheduling on other evenings/occasional weekend sessions by mutual agreement)
